�Caf� au lait� porcelain vase.
The body is decorated with relief figures depicting dignitaries and warriors in ceremonial attire, flanked by symbolic elements such as the dragon and the elephant. The iconography refers to the auspicious theme of Taiping Youxiang, an allegory of universal peace and prosperity.
On the reverse is a calligraphic inscription bearing the motto Taiping Jingxiang (�Scene of Great Peace�) and the honorary title Muyi Tianxia, referring to the Empress�s virtue and her dedication to the people.
The vessel features a slender neck adorned with two handles modelled in the form of stylised mythological creatures. The interior and base are coated with �monochrome� turquoise enamel, a technique typical of the period. China, Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Apocryphal Qianlong mark (1735�1795)
