Wednesday, April 22 at 4:00 PM, Sant'Agostino Auction House in Turin will have the honor to host the auction of Alviero Martini's private collection, the renowned Italian designer and founder of the Prima Classe brand.

Through this initiative, Sant'Agostino aims to celebrate the longstanding connection between the cities of Milan and Turin by first exhibiting the designer's private collection at his house in Milan, located at Piazza della Repubblica 25 (just a few blocks from the Central Station). The exhibition will be open from Saturday April 18 to Tuesday April 21, with continuous hours from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The auction itself will then take place on April 22 at 4:00 PM at the Sant'Agostino Auction House, in Corso Alessandro Tassoni 56, Turin.

This project fits seamlessly within the framework of "MiTo Design Connections," creating a meaningful bridge between Turin and Milan under the banner of creativity and design. The auction date has been deliberately chosen to coincide with the Salone del Mobile in Milan, allowing visitors to access a truly unique space: a home that is far more than a mere location, but rather a genuine narrative of design and life. It is an intimate environment shaped by the designer's personal vision, influenced by his experiences, travels, and evolving concept of living. Alviero Martini himself will be present during the exhibition days to welcome visitors and guide them through his stylistic choices, thoughtfully integrated into the space for which they were conceived. This is a fully lived-in home, the result of a lifetime of experiences and previous residences, now opened in its entirety at a moment of transition toward a new idea of living and self. It is not a staged setting, but an authentic reality-both a workshop and a rare opportunity to step into a real, inhabited home that encapsulates an entire life.
